CASA RENACER
“A Fusion of Tradition and Modernity in the Heart of Chocó”
House Renacer is a residential project that redefines living in Chocó through architecture that seamlessly blends tradition, sustainability, and modernity. Inspired by local identity, the house rises on stilts, providing protection against flooding while enhancing natural ventilation and passive thermal comfort, perfectly adapted to the region’s warm and humid climate.
With 144 m² organized around a permeable social core, the design connects kitchen, dining, and living areas with the surrounding landscape through sliding bamboo and wood panels, promoting cross ventilation, natural light, and a strong indoor-outdoor connection, creating a comfortable environment without the need for artificial climate control.
The project was developed using local materials and an economically conscious approach, ensuring that high-quality homes are not exclusive to affluent residents, but also accessible to middle- and lower-income families seeking dignified, healthy, and efficient living spaces. Casa Renacer paves the way for replicable housing models, ranging from 45 m² to 144 m², adaptable to diverse budgets and needs, while preserving tradition, sustainability, and cultural identity.
Casa Renacer is more than a home—it is a symbol of progress and sustainable development, stimulating the local economy and projecting Chocó’s identity onto international design standards. This project positions ELITE 24 STUDIO as a studio capable of delivering iconic, accessible, and high-value proposals, where innovation, functionality, and respect for the territory converge, offering confidence and appeal to investors, residents, and the wider community.
