Glamping Sky is a one-of-a-kind architectural experience in Colombia: the highest glamping site in the country, located in the heart of the Quindío Cloud Forest, where architecture does not merely sit on the landscape—it floats within it. From this privileged altitude, guests can literally touch the clouds while enjoying panoramic views of the Quindío mountains, immersed in silence, mist, and untouched nature.
The project represents a true architectural and technical challenge, resolved through a lightweight yet highly secure structural system that responds to extreme topography. Each unit has been designed under strict safety, stability, and comfort standards, proving that ephemeral architecture can achieve high spatial quality without compromising structural integrity or environmental balance.
Materiality follows a philosophy of lightness and climatic adaptation: timber and bamboo structures combined with high-performance PVC canvas (300–1500 gsm), specifically engineered for premium glamping. This system ensures protection against humidity, wind, and thermal variation typical of cloud forest conditions, while maintaining a strong visual and sensory connection to the outdoors.
Each module delivers an immersive luxury experience in nature, featuring a king-size bed, private kitchen, suspended catamaran net, and a heated pool conceived as a thermal lookout over the landscape. The spatial layout prioritizes openness, natural ventilation, and uninterrupted views, dissolving boundaries between interior space and the surrounding forest.
Glamping Sky is not just a tourist destination it is a sanctuary for complete disconnection, where climate, altitude, and landscape become active components of the architectural experience.
