ROOM 101 | UNICENTRO
From Traditional to Avant-Garde
Room 101 transforms a fragmented space into a minimalist contemporary suite, where the design integrates architecture, lighting, and custom-made furniture to maximize spaciousness and comfort. The project replaces loose furniture with a built-in, wall-to-wall system in a high-gloss white finish, eliminating visual clutter and optimizing storage while enhancing the perception of space through light reflection.
The ceiling becomes the fifth facade, incorporating a circular recess with an organic texture and indirect backlighting, which adds depth, character, and a subtle touch of luxury. Layered perimeter lighting and integrated lighting in the TV area allow for adaptable lighting scenarios, creating an immersive and contemporary atmosphere.
The materiality combines textured walls in neutral tones with white and dark wood joinery, achieving a balance between technology, warmth, and elegance. A project that demonstrates how intelligent design can transform a compact room into a high-end suite experience.
