ROSALES 1201
From Basic Functionality to Warm Minimalism
ROSALES 1201 is a comprehensive intervention that transforms a fragmented space into a fluid, sophisticated, and timeless architectural experience. The project eliminates the original visual clutter and prioritizes material monolithism, strategic lighting, and natural warmth as design principles.
The renovation replaces small-format ceramic tiles with large-format travertine-type stone slabs, creating a continuous floor-to-ceiling effect that visually expands the space and reduces the noise of grout lines.
The wall-hung toilet with a concealed cistern frees up visual space and contributes a clean, modern aesthetic. The recessed matte black faucet introduces an elegant graphic contrast against the beige mineral base.
The lighting transcends mere functionality to become an architectural element: perimeter LED lighting in mirrors, recessed ceiling lights, and grazing light in niches create depth, drama, and highlight the texture of the materials.
The sink evolves into an integrated piece crafted from stone, supported by a suspended wooden cabinet, creating a solid and minimalist composition.
The kitchen abandons cold white finishes and embraces floor-to-ceiling walnut wood, integrating storage and appliances into a single, continuous design language.
A monolithic island in black sintered stone with a cascading design becomes the sculptural anchor of the space, redefining the kitchen as the social heart of the home.
The lighting evolves into suspended architectural lines that emphasize horizontality and lend a contemporary character, while the furniture engages with a restrained and elegant palette.
ROSALES 1201 is not just a renovation. It is an architectural refinement where every material, every light, and every line responds to a clear intention: to transform the everyday into an experience.
